Dentistry is way more than cleaning teeth and filling cavities. Even the general public is aware the mouth is connected to the rest of the body. So is the standard of care we learned in school enough? As new innovations emerge it’s hard to stay on top of it all, but as healthcare professionals we want to do what is best for our patients and for ourselves. This course will explore not only new innovations in clinical care but look at how to care for ourselves and communicate what we need to deliver excellence of care to everyone that walks in our office.
Presentation Objectives:
Define the stress cycle and how to complete it
Evaluate new innovations in clinical care
Recognize the importance of instrument selection for optimal patient care
Apply the Awareness Wheel model to confidently navigate communication with both patients and team
