Vermont’s Outstanding Dental Hygienist of the Year 2016

Robin Miller, RDH selected as VDHA 2016/2017 Hygienist of the year!

Robin served as the VDHA President from (insert years) and performed her duties extremely well.  After working in private practice for a short time she knew that her passion was in public health. She has been working for the Vermont Department of Oral Health for quite a while during which time she earned her Master’s degree. It is a tribute to her abilities that she was selected as the first ever dental hygienist to serve as the Director of the Department of Oral Health in Vermont. She testified in support of Bill S. 20 bill creating dental therapists in Vermont and she was responsible for Medicaid changing their policies to allow dental hygienists to bill Medicaid directly for reimbursement. She is well deserving of this award.
