Description
Join VDHA and instructor Nicole Fortune, MBA, RDH, for a transformative educational experience in Soft Tissue Diode Laser Training. Nicole, certified in diode, CO2, and Nd:YAG laser use, brings her extensive expertise and enthusiasm to this full-day, hands-on course, offering 6 AGD PACE Continuing Education Units (CEUs) to participants.
Designed specifically for dental hygienists, this course delivers a comprehensive understanding of diode laser applications in dental hygiene. Participants will delve into laser physics, safety protocols, and effective tissue interaction, as well as explore the many clinical applications, such as periodontal therapy, gingival contouring, and bacterial reduction techniques.
The hands-on sessions provide practical experience with laser equipment, enabling participants to build confidence and proficiency. This immersive training will equip dental hygienists with the tools to enhance patient care and expand their professional skill set.
As an added benefit, when a hygienist registers for this course, the practice doctor may join for free, fostering collaborative learning and mutual understanding of laser technologies in dental practice. Join us as we take the voyage of discovery through diode laser techniques in this dynamic workshop.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their own laser, if they have one. Otherwise, lasers will be available for hands-on instruction curtesy of HAYES Vermont.
